Description

HYPERMETROP is an ambitious creation combining digital arts, architectural video mapping, and hip hop. The project is produced by AADN, Projet Bizarre!, Les Abattoirs, and CCO Jean Pierre Lachaize. After witnessing an augmented dance performance, the audience is invited to step onto the stage to test the setup. It’s their turn to make the architecture dance!

Technique

An openFrameworks program detects the dancer’s silhouette and skeleton using a Kinect sensor and creates the visuals and building reactions in response to the choreography.
